Welcome to Hub VPN ("App"), a virtual private network service provided by Pro Productivity Tools ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use the App and how we protect your privacy.

We built Hub VPN with privacy in mind. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not monitor, record, or store the contents of your browsing activity while connected to the VPN.

When you use Hub VPN, we do not collect or store:

• The websites you visit or apps you use while connected
• Your original IP address paired with timestamps of your VPN sessions
• DNS queries or traffic content passing through the VPN tunnel
• Your name, email address, or phone number (unless you contact us voluntarily)
• Precise location data from your device GPS

Hub VPN is designed to route and encrypt your internet traffic without building a profile of your online activity.

To operate and improve the App, limited technical data may be processed:

• App preferences — settings such as auto-connect, kill switch, protocol choice, and DNS selection are stored locally on your device using on-device storage.
• Connection metadata — basic session information (such as server selected, connection duration, and bytes transferred) may be processed in memory to maintain the VPN connection. This is not linked to your identity and is not retained as browsing history.
• Device and app information — app version, operating system version, and general device type may be used to deliver updates, troubleshoot issues, and maintain compatibility.
• Push notifications — if you enable notifications, Firebase Cloud Messaging may process a device token so we can send service-related alerts. You can disable notifications in your device settings at any time.
• Install attribution — on Android, the Google Play Install Referrer may be read to understand whether the App was installed from an ad campaign or organically. This helps us measure marketing effectiveness and is not used to track your VPN usage.

Hub VPN uses OpenVPN to create an encrypted tunnel between your device and our VPN servers. When connected:

• Your internet traffic is encrypted before it leaves your device
• Traffic is routed through the VPN server location you select
• Your public IP address may appear as the VPN server's IP address to websites and services you access

VPN protection depends on your device, network conditions, and the services you use. Hub VPN does not guarantee complete anonymity and should not be relied upon as the sole measure of privacy or security.

The App may request the following permissions:

• VPN permission — required to establish and manage the encrypted VPN connection
• Internet & network state — required to connect to VPN servers and detect connectivity changes
• Notifications — optional, used for connection status and service alerts on supported devices
• Foreground service — required on Android to keep the VPN active while you are connected

You can revoke permissions through your device settings, though some features may stop working.

Hub VPN may rely on third-party services that process limited data under their own policies:

• Google Play — app distribution and install referrer
• Firebase (Google) — push notification delivery
• OpenVPN — VPN protocol implementation used by the App

We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these providers. We do not control how third-party websites or services handle data once your traffic leaves the VPN tunnel.

We retain only the minimum information needed to operate the App. Locally stored preferences remain on your device until you clear app data or uninstall the App. Technical logs, if any, are kept only as long as necessary for security, debugging, or legal compliance, and are not used to build activity profiles.

We use industry-standard encryption through OpenVPN and apply reasonable technical measures to protect data in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your device secure and using the kill switch and auto-connect features appropriately.

Hub VPN is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

If you use Hub VPN from outside India, your data may be processed in countries where our service providers operate. By using the App, you understand that such processing may involve cross-border data transfers subject to applicable laws.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
